Hi, my names is James, and I'm a WIS. (Hi James.) This site is a display of some of my WISdom, my current watches, those that have moved one, some reviews, videos and other information.
I cannot say for sure when I became so interested in watches. I can remember my first watch being a digital Star Wars C3-PO watch from the late 70s, and throughout my youth I can remember wearing Casio digital watches. I always have felt that being on time or being where you said you would be when you said you would be was important in the fact that one should be respectful of the time of others.
In any case, my "illness" took off when work sent me to Massachusetts in August 2002, not knowing anyone there I began digging around on-line more and found watch resources I never knew were there. The forum that was most in-line with my watch beliefs and personality was (and is) the "Poor Man's" Watch Forum. I am both a member and an admin there and although biased, I have to say there is no better watch community on the web.
